COPLAC UPCOMING MEETINGS

Summer Faculty Institute
June 6-8, 2013
Fourteen contributors to the forthcoming volume, Roads Taken: The Professorial Life, Scholarship in Place, and the Public Good, will gather at UNC Asheville to discuss, revise and edit their work. The book, to be published by Truman State University Press, explores the multiple adaptations that faculty members have made to lead integrated scholarly lives in the context of public liberal arts colleges across North America.

25th Anniversary Annual Meeting
June 20-22, 2013
Shepherd University in West Virginia will host this year’s Annual Meeting. The theme for the 25th anniversary meeting is “Creative and Performing Arts at Public Liberal Arts Colleges and Universities”. Nine campuses will share innovations and best practices in the fine and performing arts. The meeting will also include separate working sessions for Presidents/Chancellors, Chief Academic Officers, and Institutional Research Officers.
